In Figma, you can apply background blur to any shape — rectangles, vectors, even complex icons — and it always looks clean and contained.
But in real websites, background blur is only supported on rectangles with rounded corners (including circles). For any other shape, the blur gets applied to the entire bounding box — not just the visible shape.
